Meeting Point: Bramall Park Main Carpark

Parking: This is a pay and display carpark. There is some roadside parking nearby but please allow time to walk to the meeting point

Details: This is a gentle walk through the grounds of Bramall Park, a little wander along the river and into the woodlands. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and ground conditions.

Rooted Within - Wellness Walk

Tuesday 10th February 2026

Meeting Time: 9.45am to start the walk at 10am (duration approx 2 hours)

Meeting Point: The Wizard Tea Rooms, Nether Alderley,

Parking: National Trust Car Park off Macclesfield Road - this is pay and display or free to NT members. There is also a small lay-by a few minutes walk away which is free however space is limited (please allow time to walk from the lay-by to the meeting point).

Details: In the fast-paced world of business, we are often taught to focus on the visible growth and the constant striving for more. But the tallest trees are held deep with invisible strength beneath the surface, their roots.

Join us for an immersive morning amongst the ancient woodlands designed to help you disconnect from the noise of busy lives and reconnect with yourself. This isn't just a networking event, it's a space to find clarity, inspiration and connect with like-minded women.

This is a gentle woodland walk in Alderley Edge, where we will leisurely make our way around The Edge, soaking in the beauty of the red sandstone and breathtaking views. This enchanting spot is perfect for reflection, so feel free to bring along a journal.

Together, we will navigate the meandering paths, pausing to appreciate the tranquil surroundings and become rooted within ourselves. This is a peaceful space crafted for mindful moments, inviting you to discover your own sense of calm and inspiration.

Meeting Point: Fletcher Moss, Main Gate on Stenner Lane

Parking: There is limited free parking on Stenner Lane, Didsbury with alternative pay and display parking at The Didsbury Pub

Details: This is a flat gentle walk through Fletcher Moss in Didsbury to include the Botanical Gardens and River Mersey. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.

Meeting Time: 10am (duration approx 1.5-2 hours)

Meeting Point: The Boars Head, Shrigley Road North, Poynton, SK121TE

Parking: There is free parking on Shrigley Road North and Anson Road, alternative parking available at Nelson's Pit Visitors Centre (please note this is pay and display)

Details: This is a flat walk along the Middlewood Way and Poynton Canal. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather. 

Coffee & Cake: Opportunity to go for coffee and cake following the walk at Fig & Fennel, Poynton  (optional)
